Singer/Songwriter SAMO T describes “I’m Sorry” as a fusion of Dancehall and Pop. Says SAMO T, “the lyrics were inspired by real events in my life”. The story tells of his relationship with someone who was “just another girl”, or so he thought. As the relationship progresses, he begins to realize he has real feelings for her and that she is greatly affected by his womanizing which brings her to tears. Coming to the realization of how he has made her feel and how he really feels about her, SAMO T (born Samrick Joel Thorpe), decided to tell the story through his lyrics. Set to a driving dance beat, SAMO T blends a mix of english and Jamaican Patwa in which the chorus invites a sing-along. The result is the birth of a love song told on top of a rythmic track designed to make you move. “I’m Sorry”, produced by Handel Tucker for Cabin Fever Recordings, is released by Adriatic Sound on the Believe Digital platform from 23 january 2018.
